The Coaches
Stuart Hanrahan, Founder and Coach
Stu ‘Chilli’ Hanrahan, the founder of High Performance Baseball, is a lifelong baseball coach and Physical Education teacher. With over 3 decades of experience, Stu has coached players of all ages and skill levels, from club to national levels, both domestically and internationally.
Known for his ability to develop core fundamental skills and his elite-level understanding of the game, Stu elevates each player’s gameplay and mental approach. He is dedicated to helping each player work through their personal development plan to reach their goals.
PJ Patterson, Co-Founder and Coach
PJ, a co-founder of High Performance Baseball found his passion for baseball after moving halfway around the world. Originally from the US, PJ immigrated to Australia over 2 decades ago and got involved with his local club, Forest Baseball Club when his then 5-year-old son expressed an interest in tee ball. That was 2005 and PJ has coached both juniors and representative baseball in the Manly Warringah District Baseball Assoc ever since.
PJ coached the MWDBA 2019 Little League Majors team that qualified for Nationals and the 2022 Senior League team that won a NSW State Title for the first time since 2001 going on to win Bronze at Nationals. PJ will be working to develop college placement opportunities for our baseballers.
‘TK’ Krajancic, Coach
Anthony was one the premier catchers in the country having represented NSW, Australia and played in the Australian Baseball League. TK was one of the first Aussies to complete 4 years of College in the USA, playing baseball at Wallace State Community College and Southeastern Louisiana University. HBP catchers will have the privilege of working with one of the real ‘nice guys’ of Australian baseball as TK develops their receiving, blocking, throwing and game management skills.
